Live Sound is both an art and a science. Getting live music to sound good requires a balance of technical knowhow with understanding of music, interpersonal skills and the right attitude. As musicians and music fans ourselves we understand what the performers and the audience want from a performance. We have experience of working with music from many genres, including: - Funk / Soul From up and coming bands in the North East to some of the region's most successful artists, we have mixed live sound for many bands such as Maximo Park, The Baghdaddies and Smoove & Turrell. The room or environment where live music is performed massively affects the sound and every room is different. Working with a loud band in a small room with poor acoustics can be one of the greatest challenges for an engineer. We have plenty of experience dealing successfully with just that kind of situation and have also worked in venues with audiences of up to 2000 people.
